Understanding the core processes of the water cycle
Water is an essential part of most areas of human life. This includes water in the form of drinking water or service water, as well as water used to generate electrical power. Water management systems are complex and require vigilant operation, as the applications have far-reaching effects on humans as well as on the environment. Our EDS® for Water Management training systems offer practical exercises and experiments that enable close, detailed analyses of the individual process steps in water management systems, and illustrate how changes in one area can affect the whole system.
Basic Water Circuit System: Fully equipped - Four become one!
- Includes all necessary water supply and disposal stations: Water Treatment, Water Supply, Wastewater Transport, and Wastewater Treatment
- Stations also function independently as stand-alone systems
- Students initially control the individual stations in manual override using a simulation box
- Included EasyPorts are then used to control and observe the stations via the control software
- One PC, to which all four EasyPorts are connected, controls the complete system
- The basic system stations are fully assembled, wired and tested
- A water supply tank/ground water is required for single operation
EDS® – Environmental Discovery System for Water Management
The EDS® for Water Management is a modular training system which represents the core processes of a water and wastewater treatment plant in the form of a water loop from the source to the wastewater treatment plant and back again.
Thanks to its industry-oriented design, EDS® for Water Management makes it possible to explain the principles behind the collection, extraction, transport, and treatment of water and wastewater. It offers a compact introduction to measurement, open-loop control, and closed-loop control technology.
