Aerodynamics

The Festo Didactic Aerodynamics Training System provides hands-on STEM learning in the principles of airflow, lift, drag, and airfoil design. Using a functional wind tunnel, students design, build, and test wing airfoil prototypes while measuring aerodynamic forces and evaluating how changes in shape and materials affect performance. The system reinforces the engineering design process, aerodynamic coefficients, forces, material properties, testing, and design optimization, giving students practical experience with concepts used in aerospace and engineering careers.
