Fiber Optics and Lasers

The Festo Fiber Optics and Lasers Training System provides hands-on instruction in the principles and applications of fiber optics, lasers, and optical communications. Students learn how data, voice, radio, and light signals are transmitted through optical fibers and laser beams, while exploring topics such as optics, attenuation, bending losses, optical coupling, fiber termination, laser technology, and telecommunications. Students perform experiments using fiber-optic cables and laser links to develop practical skills applicable to communications, electronics, engineering, and photonics careers.
